Theologydebunked.home.blog is a website which seeks to offer challenges and criticisms to the various theological doctrines of the Christian faith using the Bible and rationality. The author assumes that the historical accounts in the Bible happened exactly as narrated for the purposes of discussion. Hence, any debates on whether certain individuals existed historically or not are irrelevant to the main objective of this blog. Ironically, the author derives his motivation to critically examine the Bible from the following scripture.

Thessalonians 5:21

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (See also Acts 17:11)

Food for thought

If God gave you a brain, then use your brain to think. He wouldn’t be mad at you for doing that, would he? Use your brain to think and determine whether what you believe is true and realistic or not. Furthermore, Isaiah 41:21 states “Present your case, says the LORD. Set forth your arguments, says Jacob’s king.” You can also see Genesis 18:23-33. From these scriptures, it is rational to conclude that God is open to being questioned. Therefore, there’s nothing wrong in questioning God’s decisions and ways of doing things. It is within this vein, that this site seeks to provide reasonable arguments against Christian theology.  Although, it should be noted that the author does not believe the God of the Bible (Yahwe) exists but assumes his existence for discussion purposes.
